About Resilient Village

Resilient Village Ukraine (RVU) is a holistic concept for a carefully designed community.  You'll hear "peer-to-peer" throughout, especially in our workshops. It's all designed so most people can adapt the ideas and share with others. At the heart of it all: no one falls behind or is isolated, struggling to survive the war and its aftermath alone. 

Since May 2022, we've been developing various components across the northern tier of Ukraine, centered around our Bucha location with different parts of the concept developing with local partnerships from Hostomel to several cities and villages up to nearly the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. 

This is just the beginning of a long-term, multi-community development for locations throughout Ukraine where small groups want to take charge of their own growth and rebuilding, especially in rural areas where outside help may be years, even decades, into the future. This lets the RVU concept grow organically, weaving like-minded groups into a better, stronger, EU-focused future.
